NEW VOICES

On Sunday May 14th, we are very pleased to present the first edition of staged readings from our New Voices playwright lab. These three plays are world premieres and you now have the chance to be the first to hear them.

Please join us for a lovely afternoon at LiteraturHaus. Entrance is free, but you do need to secure a ticket in advance.

Harald Toksværd

presents:

“The Duchess, The Serpent and the Crow”

An absurdist acid western about identity, queerness and the never-ending walk towards self-realization. Things learned, observed, digested or ignored… on an endless desert road, The Crow, en route to the enigmatic Duchess, confronts the denizens of Nowhere.

Pejman Khorsandi-Jamal

presents:

“Coward Populist Whistleblower”

Waxing poetic on the issues of guilt, responsibility and accountability, three people (just like us?) unravel their own deeds. A glorious brain-dump addressing limitation and possibility comes to terms with itself in real time before our very eyes.

William Bedford Russell

presents:

“Tattoed On My Leg”

Siblings who are close often get to say what needs to be said along the way… until the 2-way conversation becomes one-way… and what then…

When the time for love and reconciliation arrives, will you be ready?
